What is Voxeet?
Voxeet’s Natural Conferencing service takes teleconferencing to the next level. Voxeet delivers crystal clear voice quality, 3-D sound and visual cues to help identify who’s speaking, and one-click transfer to your cell phone. Voxeet enables multiple participants conferences for private conversations, business meetings or team collaboration.

Do I need a headset?
No, you can use Voxeet with your computer’s speakers and microphone. However, to experience our natural high definition fully, we recommend you use headphones. You can find some accessories here.
How can I try 3D audio?
You don’t have to do anything, all conferences in Voxeet are already in 3D. Once in a conference, you can drag participants to your left or to your right, closer or further away. For instance, if you are in a meeting with clients, you can put them on your right so you will immediately know if your client is speaking. You can use the same technique with your colleagues and superiors to help you focus on what the most important participants say. You don’t need headphones to hear 3D sound but bare in mind that some of the quality and immersion will be lost when using speakers.
What about video?
At Voxeet, we decided to dedicate all of our energy to providing unprecedented high definition sound quality. Video might come later on, but we believe there are still lots of improvements that can be made for online audio conference calls first!
I am behind a firewall. What network ports should I open?
Voxeet uses the following ports:
10001 (TCP)
11001 (TCP)
6060 (UDP)
Can I import my contacts from third party applications?
Yes you can! So far in our Beta version, you can import your Facebook contacts and your phonebook contacts. Just click on “Add Contacts” and you will see the option.
Can I call phone numbers?
This feature is in development. It will come out in the coming months.
I can’t connect – “no network detected” error.
If you are connected to internet but still have this error, it is probably coming from your proxy settings.
Voxeet should automatically detect your proxy settings. However, if for some reason Voxeet cannot connect to your proxy server, you should be able to manually configure Voxeet by clicking on “Change Network Settings” button where you will be able to enter your proxy settings manually.

2. That will bring you to the Network Settings screen. Choose manual setting and ask your network admin. for your proxy information.

You should now be able to use Voxeet.

How many participants can a conference have?
During our beta program, you can try conferences with up to 8 participants. Once we release our first public version, you will be limited to 3 participants if you have a free account.
How do I change my account information?
To update your account information such as your name, email, password or photo, click on the settings icon on the top right of the application.
I forgot my password
If you can’t log in because you forgot your password, you can click on “forgot my password” on the log in screen and we will send you a new one.
How do I delete my account?
If you wish to delete your account, email us at support@voxeet.com
How do I switch from one device to the other?
During a conference, just turn on your second device (computer or phone), log in and click on “join”. Your conference will automatically be transferred.
What happens if several participants are in the same physical room?
If those people use different accounts with different computers, we strongly recommend them to do so in different rooms to avoid echoe and an overall unpleasant experience.
If all users are around a table and use the same account and same computer, the best way to enjoy Voxeet is to use stereo speakers and microphones. If it isn’t already, don’t forget to activate “echo cancellation” in the audio settings of Voxeet.
I have installed Voxeet, how do I create an account?
Once you’ve successfully installed Voxeet on your computer, open Voxeet and click on the Sign Up! button. Follow the instructions on screen and go to your emails to activate your account. If you have issues logging in, email us at support@voxeet.com
