Voxeet is an uncomplicated conference call solution with unparalleled sound quality. With immersive 3D HD sound, intuitive interface so you always know who’s talking and one-click transfers between devices, Voxeet makes group conference calling feel as natural as being in the same room, no matter what device you’re on.
What makes Voxeet different?
It’s simple: Voxeet’s conference call sound quality is unparalleled. With Voxeet, there’s no background noise, no echo, no talk-over—just crisp, clear, recognizable voices and 3D immersive sound.
What’s a 3D conference call?
A 3D conference call is an immersive conferencing experience, providing sound so crisp and voice quality so clear, it feels like you and your fellow conferencers are sitting in the same room. Using HD audio and sound algorithms to reduce background noise and echo, we’ve eliminated over-talk and boosted sound quality, resulting in exceptionally clear immersive sound.
To use your 3D conference call to its full potential, take advantage of Voxeet’s virtual conference table: Drag participants’ pictures—and their voices—around on your screen so you always know who’s talking.

How To Use Voxeet
Do I need a headset for a Voxeet conference call?
You don’t need one (you can use your phone or computer’s speakers and microphone), but Voxeet is designed to work best with a
headset, so we definitely recommend it. If you’re looking for a headset, check out some of our conference call accessories.
How do I schedule a conference call?
To set up a conference call on Voxeet, schedule your meeting as usual using the calendar application of your choice—Outlook, iCal, Google Calendar, Live, Lotus or Yahoo! When you’re adding guests, simply include firstname.lastname@example.org in the list of email addresses. Make sure you schedule your call using the email address associated with your Voxeet account—either the one you log in with or a secondary address you’ve registered to the same account—so we know where to find you.
Once your meeting is scheduled, we’ll create your conference on Voxeet, send you and your participants an email invitation and call everyone—including you—at the scheduled time. If you miss our call, simply go to your app and click “Conferences” to find and join your live conference.
How many participants can my conference call have?
Right now, you can host a conference call for up to eight participants.
How do I transfer my conference call from one device to another?
During your conference, simply turn on your second device (computer or phone), log in to Voxeet and click “Join.” Your conference will automatically transfer, just like that. Learn more about seamless mobility.
How do I use whisper mode during my conference?
If you want to have a private, two-way conversation with another participant during your conference, click on that person’s picture. When the whisper icon appears, click on “whisper” and wait for the other person to accept your invitation. You can have your one-on-one chat while keeping one ear on the conference—without disrupting anyone else. Learn more about conferencing in whisper mode.
How does the virtual conference room work?
During your conference call, you can drag participants’ pictures—and voices—around your virtual conference room to organize the conference any way you like it. Put clients on the left and coworkers to your right. Or move people closer or farther away from you based on their role in a project. Wherever you put them, that’s where you’ll hear their voices. Learn more about our virtual conference room.
What happens if some of my meeting participants are in the same room?
If everyone is joining your group conference call with different accounts from different devices, we recommend breaking up into
different rooms to avoid echo. If everyone wants to stay in the same room, it works best to use the stereo speakers and microphones on one computer—don’t forget to activate “echo cancellation” in Voxeet’s audio settings first.
How does Voxeet Dial-In work?
If you’re experiencing a low-quality IP connection on any conference, simply click the Dial-In icon on the bottom left of your screen to switch to a local dial-in number (no PIN required).
If someone invited to your conference hasn’t downloaded Voxeet yet, it’s no problem. We’ll send a local dial-in number (currently available in over 40 countries) and PIN with their meeting request so they can dial in to the call the old fashioned way—just be sure to schedule your meeting in advance.
You cannot host a meeting from a dial-in number and remember, to experience Voxeet’s 3DHD sound, you have to be conferencing through the Voxeet app.
When I’m using Voxeet on my mobile device, am I using my data or voice minutes?
When you join a Voxeet call through our app, you’ll be conferencing over your data network. If you switch to a local dial-in number during your conference (or call in from one), you’ll be using your voice minutes.
Experiencing Technical Difficulties?
I’m behind a firewall—what network ports should I open?
Voxeet uses the following ports: 10001 (TCP); 11001 (TCP); 6060 (UDP)
I’m getting a “no network detected error” when I try to connect. What do I do now?
If you’re connected to internet and still getting this error, it’s probably related to your proxy settings. You can manually configure Voxeet by clicking on the “Change network settings” button, which will take you to the Network Settings screen. Choose “Manual,” ask your network admin for your proxy information and start conferencing!
I installed Voxeet on my PC, but it isn’t detecting my audio hardware. What should I do?
It’s likely you simply need to download the latest version of Voxeet. Simply uninstall the version you’re using and download this version instead—it should have no trouble detecting your hardware.
I installed Voxeet on my PC, but the app isn’t showing up. What now?
