Delly is the Founder and Former CEO of LetsTalk. He led LetsTalk for 13 years, and grew it from inception to over $100 MM in revenues. LetsTalk was recently sold to Brightstar
LetsTalk provides technology solutions to the wireless industry and enables the sales of mobile devices through an integrated omni-channel that includes online, in-store, and social networks. The company built custom technology solutions for some of the most famous
brands in wireless and retail, including HTC, Samsung, Walmart, Alltel, Metro PCS, and Nokia. LetsTalk’s technology was deeply integrated with Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS and other carriers.
Prior to LetsTalk, Delly was the Founding VP of Business Development at Netflix. He led creative deals with DVD manufacturers to grow Netflix subscribers, and raise Netflix’s brand awareness.
Delly holds an MBA from Haas, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from U.C. Berkeley, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University.
Doug Galen has been developing new innovation products and services for consumers for some twenty years. Doug most recently worked as Chief Revenue Officer at shopkick, a venture-backed company focused on leveraging the power of mobile to transform shopping. Doug is responsible for building and managing retailer partnerships and revenue. Shopkick is backed by Kleiner Perkins and Greylock Partners.
Prior to shopkick, Doug was Senior Vice President of BD and M&A at Shutterfly, where he helped grow the business from 100 people to 1,000 and increase the revenues from $50 million to nearly $500 million which culminated in a successful IPO.
Prior to Shutterfly, Doug was Vice President/General Manager of New Ventures for eBay where he helped create eight new business units for the company including Tickets & Experiences, Real Estate and Health & Beauty with revenues of $500 million.
Prior to eBay, Doug was Vice President of Sales and Business Development for E-LOAN, an online home and auto lender. At E-LOAN, he was responsible for creating over 70 corporate alliances, joint ventures and acquisitions – including overseeing the company’s diversification beyond mortgages and into auto loans through the acquisition of Bank of America’s auto finance division and the company’s international expansion.
Doug has served on the Board or Advisory Board of Ripple Labs, Abe’s Market, Prosper, Adchemy, Zip Realty, HomeGain, Positive Coaching Alliance and Riley’s Place.
Andy Abramson is the founder of Comunicano, Inc., a full-service value creation communications agency, servicing start-ups, companies in transition and established brands with regard to marketing, advertising, public relations, promotion, events and reputation management.
Comunicano operates globally as a virtual company, with its headquarters in Del Mar, CA. Founded in 1992, since 2000 the company has participated in the exit or IPO’s of 32 companies in the mobile, telecom or IT infrastructure sectors or related industries. The
acquiring parties of some of the companies include Google, Yahoo, Nokia, Cisco, Symantec, Computer Associates, IBM, Citrix, Fidelity Investments and Logitech as well as supporting Accredited Home Lenders, Magor, Boingo and Vringo up to their public offerings.
A veteran of the marketing and public relations industry with over 39 years of experience in all facets of marketing and corporate communications, Andy started his career in the marketing department of a professional sports team at age 14 and has been at it ever since. Since then he has held a series of front line marketing and communications managerial roles with three professional teams including the Philadelphia Wings, Philadelphia Flyers and Denver Nuggets, followed by roles in senior account management within the Foote, Cone and Belding/Impact and guiding the public relations and sports marketing for The Upper Deck Company, before founding Comunicano in 1992.
Often quoted both in the consumer and technology industry press, since 2003 Andy has authored VoIPWatch (http://www.andyabramson.com), a leading industry blog focused on mobile, video, voice, collaboration and over the top technology while also serving as the technology correspondent for the syndicated radio program, Business Rockstars, whose flagship station is KFWB-AM in Los Angeles, CA while also serving as a member of the board of advisors of multiple startups around the world.
